A member of Ave Maria School of Law's inaugural class of 2003, I work primarily in Livingston and Washtenaw counties, serving "the average person" with their legal needs. I have worked in nonprofit development, higher education, the biotech software industry, as an adjunct professor at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, and as a classical education tutor.
I am also the Associate Director of the Patients Rights Council and speak nationally on advance directives, end-of-life medical ethics and the dangers of doctor-prescribed suicide.
I am the elected Treasurer of Hamburg Township, and I serve on the parish council of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Brighton. I have been married to my wife Samantha since 1993 and we have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
